Aescape has opened a "fully automated, AI-driven massage table" at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, the resort said in a news release on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Founded in 2017, Aescape also has machines at luxury spas in New York City and Miami.
The first-in-New Jersey system generates more than 1.1 million 3D data points on a person's body to map out a unique and targeted massage.
"Users access a touchscreen interface to choose from a variety of treatments tailored to their unique body profile, providing control over target areas, pressure points, and music selection," Hard Rock said. "Aescape remembers individual body characteristics and personal preferences to deliver customized massage experiences, from deep tissue to quick recovery, meeting the specific needs and preferences of each user."
Rock Spa & Salon started offering the tech-savvy massage experience on Wednesday, Oct. 9, an Aescape spokesperson said. Guests can choose between the "Fit Betty" and "Spa Betty" options.
"Fit Betty" will help people who exercise at Body Rock Fitness Center with physical therapy work or issues like muscle strains, while "Spa Betty" will offer a "more traditional" experience.
"Rock Spa & Salon is constantly evolving to bring our guests the ultimate luxury spa experience," said Rock Spa & Salon director Ginger McLean. "We are thrilled to partner with Aescape to offer our guests the newest in wellness technology while maintaining our high standard of service."
"Spa Betty" experiences start at $110. The "Fit Betty" option starts at $85.
You can book a reservation through the Aescape app or by calling 609-449-5380.
